  • Accommodations

    Sentry Centers 730 Third Avenue has several hotel partners in the immediate vicinity to provide overnight accommodations for our guests.  Most proximate and recommended are The Alex Hotel (Mr. Kendal Elder (212) 850-6323) and The Fitzpatrick (Ms. Amy Morris (212) 784-2637)

  • Audio Visual Equipment

    Price list for audio visual equipment can be furnished upon request

  • Banners/ Signage

    Signage is not permitted on the lobby level without permission from your Conference Services Manager.

    Banners are permitted in the banquet rooms upon the approval of your Conference Services Manager. There is a hanging fee of $150.00 per banner, which may vary depending on the size and placement of the banner.

  • Business Services

    We have a business center at 730 Third Ave for guest convenience located on the 18th floor.

  • Cameras & Video Taping

    Filming and photography of public areas both outside and inside the venue are prohibited without prior consent from your Conference Services Manager.

  • Concierge Services

    Our onsite concierge can assist with all matters business and personal, ranging from maling special arrangements, assisting with a fax, shipping and receiving packages, and running last minute errands.

  • Elevators

    All of Sentry’s floors (2, 17, 18, 22, 27) at 730 Third are serviced by the high rise elevators located on the far wall opposite the main lobby entrance.

    Service elevator is accessible from 45th Street adjacent to Gente Restaurant.   All deliveries must be made via the service elevator.

    Details: 730 Third Avenue contains a total of 13 elevator cabs. Details are as follows:

    • 1 Hydro freight – (Basement – 2nd floor) Motion Controllers / EPCO – 5000 lb.
    • 1 Freight car, mid-rise – Kone 5,000 lb., 700 ft./min. L 68” X W 86” X H 124”
    • 1 Freight car, high-rise – Kone – 3,000 lb. 700 ft./min. L 52” X W 86” X H 90”
    • 4 Passenger cars, low-rise – Kone/Westinghouse – 4,000 lb., 400 ft./min. L 68” X W 85” X H 90”
    • 3 Passenger cars, mid-rise – Kone – 3,500 lb., 700 ft./min. L 68” X W 86” X H 124”
    • 3 Passenger cars, high-rise – Kone/Westinghouse – 3000 lb., 700 ft./min. L 52” X W 86” X H 90”

  • Food & Beverage

    All food and beverage that is to be served at the venue must be supplied and prepared by Sentry Centers. All food & beverage prices are subject to 22% service charge and 8.878% state tax

  • Foreign Languages

    Languages spoken by our staff include: English, Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Portuguese, Filipino and Japanese.

  • Group/Conference Information

    Hospitality/Registration Desks

    • Registration desks are permitted outside a contracted function room; we do permit hospitality or registration desks in the lobby next to our hospitality desk.

    In order to obtain billing privileges, credit information must be provided at least 6 weeks in advance of your function. Please contact your Catering Sales Manager for further information.

    Sentry Centers Properties provide the quintessential set for any New York City executive business style shoot. 

    730 Third Avenue

    Formerly the executive conference center for a Fortune 50 financial firm, the 44,000 sq.ft. site is well appointed in executive style, highlighted by two story panoramic views of classic Manhattan skyline (Grand Central, The Helmsley Building, Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, East River Pepsi Cola sign).

    The 27th Floor Executive Level
    Features various executive meeting configurations including one of Manhattan's most extraordinary boardroom tables; 42ft long custom inlaid wood table seating 40, a smaller setting for 18 and several more intimate executive dining areas - all with penthouse views.

    Elegant Atrium Reception Area
    This beautifully designed atrium reception area features two story views and a sweeping grand staircase.

    The 4,000 square foot Wharton Ballroom
    Located on the 17th floor and accommodating 400, the expansive ballroom features soaring 16 foot tall windows on three sides that provide stunning panoramic views of midtown skylines.

    5,000 square foot Outdoor Garden Terrace
    Floating 22 stories above Midtown the Terrace accommodates 400, serves as a "clean slate" with a stunning skyline backdrop.  (Grand Central, The Helmsley Building, Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, East River Pepsi Cola sign). 

    Break Out Rooms
    Various smaller rooms have an "office space" look and feel

    Cafeteria
    Sentry also operates the building's classic corporate cafeteria available for shooting and to feed your crew.

    Ops
    The building is wired with high voltage electric, service elevators and cafeteria services.

  • Security

    • Please call Conference Services at (646) 200-6371
    • Security agents are available for $365 per officer (1 per 100 guests required).  Agents must be ordered at least 48 hours in advance.
    • Optimal building security is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
    • Closed Circuit security cameras are installed in every elevator, and in areas of ingress and egress throughout the building providing direct surveillance access to the central command station in the lobby.
    • Secure building access is regulated by a card key single pass security turnstile system (24-hour/7-day access).  Compatible access badges are pre-printed based on your submitted list of conference attendees.  Pre printed badges are distributed at Sentry’s dedicated registration desk on the north side of the lobby.  All building guests will be asked to show photo ID before receiving their printed building access pass.  
    • Additional passes may be furnished upon demand with building security. 

  • “Sentry does it with a Smile”

    Special request items and services can be ordered at any time.  Please note that you will be responsible for partnering with the venue to determine the quantities needed to purchase.  Since these may be special order items, it will be required that you purchase all that is ordered.

  • Shipping Materials

    • Any package to be sent to the space must be discussed with our conference service manager in advance.
    • All packages must be clearly labeled "banquet use/date of meeting/company name/ Conference   
    • Service Manager's name"
    • Due to limited storage facilities, any packages sent more then 2 days prior to the meeting are subject to refusal
    • Any packages left in the venue more than 2 days after the conclusion of the meeting will be discarded
    • The center is not responsible for any packages sent to the venue

  • Telecommunications

    We understand how important telecommunications is to your business meetings.  Accordingly, we offer Robust High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) -  65x Faster than a traditional T1 connection and offer complimentary wireless internet supported by Cisco Systems.

    Other services include:

    • Video and Teleconference
    • Full technology support for projectors, mics, soundsystems etc.
